Add Watermark to Images
Put your name, copyright notice or website on your photos — one image or a whole batch — with control over position, size, colour and opacity.
Result
Add one or more images and your watermark text.
How to use this tool
- Add one or more images and type your watermark text, for example “© Jane Smith 2026”.
- Choose a position. Tiled repeats the text diagonally across the whole image, which is harder to crop out.
- Adjust size, colour and opacity. Keep the shadow on for readability on both light and dark areas.
- Select Add watermark and download the results.
How it works
Text size is a percentage of each image’s width, so the watermark looks consistent across different image sizes. Corner positions keep a margin of 3% of the shorter side. Tiled watermarks are rotated by 30° and repeated in offset rows across the whole image.
Example
Two image sizes
At 5% size, the text is 200 px tall on a 4000 px-wide photo and 60 px tall on a 1200 px-wide one, so it covers the same proportion of each.
Privacy and limitations
- Watermarking happens on your device; nothing is uploaded.
- Visible watermarks discourage casual copying but can be removed by someone determined; they are not technical copy protection.
- The text uses your device’s standard sans-serif font.
Frequently asked questions
Where should I place a watermark?
A corner keeps the photo clean but is easy to crop. A tiled or centred watermark protects better but is more intrusive.
Can I use a logo instead of text?
This version supports text watermarks only.
