How to use this tool
- Paste your list with one item per line.
- Choose whether “Apple” and “apple” count as the same line, and whether to trim spaces and drop empty lines.
- The result keeps the first occurrence of each line in its original position.
How it works
Each line is compared with the lines already kept. If an identical line (after optional trimming and case folding) has been seen, it is dropped; otherwise it is kept. The order of the remaining lines does not change.
Example
A messy list
apple, Banana, apple, banana (one per line) with Ignore upper/lower case ticked becomes apple, Banana — 2 duplicates removed.
Privacy and limitations
- Your list is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
- Lines that differ only in invisible characters are treated as different; run the Text Cleaner first if you suspect stray spaces or tabs.

Yes — use the Sort Lines tool, which can also remove duplicates while sorting.
Is there a size limit?
There is no fixed limit; very large lists (hundreds of thousands of lines) depend on your device’s memory.
