Choose what the QR code should contain.

How to use this tool

  • Choose what the QR code should contain and fill in the details.
  • Choose an error-correction level: higher levels still scan when part of the code is damaged or covered, but make the code denser.
  • Download as PNG (1024 × 1024 pixels) or SVG (scales to any size for print). Test the code with your phone before printing.

How it works

The content is converted to UTF-8 and encoded as a standard QR code (ISO/IEC 18004) using the open-source qrcode-generator library, which chooses the smallest QR version that fits. Wi-Fi codes use the WIFI:T:…;S:…;P:…;; format understood by iOS and Android cameras, and email and phone codes use mailto:, tel: and SMSTO: links.

Example

A Wi-Fi code

Network “Cafe Guest” with WPA password “coffee123” is encoded as WIFI:T:WPA;S:Cafe Guest;P:coffee123;;. Scanning it offers to join the network.

Privacy and limitations

  • QR codes are generated in your browser. They are static: they contain your content directly, never redirect through our servers and never expire.
  • Because the content is stored in the code, you cannot change a printed code later — create a new one.
  • Keep dark modules on a light background with good contrast; inverted or low-contrast codes may not scan.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They contain your link or text directly, so they work as long as the content itself is valid.

Can I track scans?

Not with a static code. Tracking requires a dynamic QR service that redirects through its own server.
