Bulk Image Resizer
Resize a whole folder of photos in one go — fit them inside a maximum size, set an exact width or height, or scale by percentage — then download everything as a single ZIP.
Result
Add images, choose a size and select Resize all.
How to use this tool
- Drag in up to 100 images (or choose them, or paste them).
- Choose how to resize. Fit inside a box is best for mixed portrait and landscape photos: each image keeps its proportions and fits within the maximum width and height.
- Keep Don’t enlarge ticked so small images aren’t blown up. Choose the output format and quality, then select Resize all.
- Download images one by one or select Download all as ZIP.
How it works
Each image is decoded, scaled and re-encoded one at a time in your browser, which keeps memory use low. With Fit inside a box, the scale is min(max width ÷ width, max height ÷ height), so neither side exceeds the box. Large reductions are done in halving steps for sharper results. The ZIP is assembled in your browser using the standard ZIP format without extra compression, because images are already compressed.
Example
Mixed photos into a 1600 px box
A 4000 × 3000 landscape photo becomes 1600 × 1200, a 3000 × 4000 portrait becomes 1200 × 1600, and a 1000 × 800 image stays the same size because enlarging is switched off.
Privacy and limitations
- Images are processed on your device and never uploaded.
- Up to 100 images of up to 50 MB each per batch. Each output is limited to about 16.7 megapixels.
- Files that cannot be read are listed with a reason; the rest are still processed. Animated GIFs use their first frame.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many images I can resize?
Up to 100 per batch. For more, run several batches — processing happens on your own device, so speed depends on your computer or phone.
Will the file names stay the same?
Each file keeps its original name with “-resized” added, and the extension changes if you choose a different format. Duplicate names in the ZIP are numbered automatically.
