Spin the Wheel
Add names or options and spin the wheel to pick one at random — for giveaways, classrooms, decisions and games.
Result
Add your options, then spin the wheel.
How to use this tool
- Type one option per line.
- Select Spin the wheel. Tick “remove the winner” to draw several winners in turn.
How it works
The winner is chosen first with your browser’s secure random number generator, then the wheel animates to stop on it — every option has an equal chance.
Example
Choosing dinner
With 6 options, each has a 1 in 6 chance on every spin.
Privacy and limitations
- Everything runs in your browser; nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
- With reduced motion turned on in your system, the wheel stops without animation.
Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel fair?
Yes — the result is picked with cryptographically secure randomness, not by the animation.
Can I use it for a giveaway?
Yes. For many entries, the Random Name Picker is quicker.
