How to use this tool

How it works
Each PDF page has a rotation setting (0°, 90°, 180° or 270°). The tool adds your rotation to the existing one, so rotating a page that was already turned 90° by another 90° gives 180°. The page content itself is not re-compressed.

One sideways scan
In a 3-page scan where page 2 is sideways, rotating page 2 by 90° clockwise fixes it and leaves pages 1 and 3 unchanged.
Privacy and limitations
- Your PDF is processed on your device and is never uploaded.
- Quality is unchanged because only the page setting changes.
- Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the protection in the program that created the file first.
Frequently asked questions
Will the rotation stay when I open the file elsewhere?
Yes. The rotation is saved in the PDF, unlike rotating the view in a PDF reader.
Which way is clockwise?
Clockwise turns the top of the page to the right.
