Result
Fill in your page details to generate meta tags.
How to use this tool
- Enter the page title and description, and the page’s full URL.
- Add a share image (1200 × 630 px works well) so links show a large preview.
- Copy the tags into the
<head>of your page.
How it works
The tool writes the standard HTML title and description, a canonical link, an optional robots tag, Open Graph tags (used by Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack and others) and X card tags. Every value is HTML-escaped, so quotes and ampersands are safe. It also checks lengths: search engines typically show about 50–60 characters of a title and 150–160 of a description.
Example
Escaping
A title of My "Page" is written as <title>My "Page"</title>, so it cannot break the HTML.
Privacy and limitations
- Everything runs in your browser; nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
- Search engines and social networks decide what to show; good tags make your preferred title, description and image much more likely.
- After changing tags, social networks may keep showing an old cached preview for a while.
Frequently asked questions
Do meta keywords help SEO?
No. Major search engines have ignored the keywords meta tag for many years, so it is not generated.
Does X (Twitter) need its own title tags?
No. X falls back to the Open Graph title, description and image, so only the card type and username are added.
