Bulk Rename Images
Give a folder of photos tidy, consistent names — like holiday-001.jpg — using a pattern with numbers, the original name or today’s date.
Result
Add images and choose a naming pattern.
How to use this tool
- Add up to 100 images.
- Enter a pattern, such as trip-{n}, and choose the start number and digits.
- Download the renamed files or the ZIP.
How it works
Tokens are replaced in order: {n} becomes the padded number, {name} the original name and {date} today’s date. Characters that are not allowed in file names are replaced, and duplicate names get -2, -3 and so on.
Example
Holiday photos
“IMG 1.JPG” and “b.png” with the pattern trip {n}, lowercase, become trip-01.jpg and trip-02.png.
Privacy and limitations
- Your files are processed on your device and never uploaded.
- Files are copied byte for byte; only the names change.
